Con motivo del décimo cumpleaños de Humor Sapiens, nos han enviado mensajes de felicitación y estímulo 68 humoristas, entre ellos gráficos, escénicos, audiovisuales, musicales y literarios, así como académicos, investigadores y estudiosos del humor de 18 países como Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Cuba, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, España, Estados Unidos, Francia, Irán, Italia, Inglaterra, México, Perú, Polonia, Portugal y Venezuela.

Nuestro más profundo agradecimiento a todos. Un honor recibir estos mensajes, los cuales atesoramos con orgullo, pero también con responsabilidad, tomándolos como incentivo para continuar nuestro trabajo de creación, estudio y promoción del humor.

Si algún colega o humornauta en general desea enviarnos alguna felicitación, sugerencia, queja o cualquier opinión, será bien recibida y publicada en este espacio, que desde ahora aparecerá en nuestro Menú.

1) El Humor Sapiens de Pelayo Para PepePelayo. Viendo esa cara de jodedor cubano encima del escenario no imaginé que detrás de ella hubiera un serio investigador de la ciencia del humor. Menos que, a los años, lo pudiera considerar mi amigo aunque no nos hemos visto. El histrionismo de Pelayo es un aporte de la Seña del Humor. Hoy al disfrutar y aprender de su otro hijo que es Humor Sapiens convencido estoy que tenemos que agradecerle tanta entrega. Solamente no reviso las convocatorias que actualizadamente publican, también la investigación sobre la ciencia del Humor es consulta obligada en este espacio. Cómo ha hecho para hacer libros, dar clases, producir Humor y seguir jodiendo es una interrogante quizás posible de revelar ahora en su aniversario. Su Matanzas es zona de grandes escritores y artistas y él un buen hijo de esa ciudad. Te deseo mucha salud al igual que a tú página web. 5) Recuerdo como si fuera ayer cuando Alex me comentó la idea que tenían junto a su padre, Pepe Pelayo, de hacer una web sobre humor. De primera el nombre del proyecto me encantó: Humor Sapiens. Y de pronto, ahora, me avisan que cumplen diez años. También llevo diez años creando, pensando y viviendo con humor. Hay varios sitios web donde puedo encontrar concursos, entrevistas, noticias y ensayos sobre humor; pero Humor Sapiens es mi preferido, tiene todo y de todo sobre el humor gráfico, teatral, literario... Las entrevistas a humoristas me acercan a ellos como personas y por ende comprender más de sus obras. Por Humor Sapiens me he enterado de salones internacionales, de lamentables pérdidas del humor y de censuras que sufren (desgraciadamente demasiado seguidas) muchos humoristas a nivel mundial. 6) El estudio del humor. De Alexis Valdes para Pepe Pelayo. Pepe Pelayo, lleva años estudiando el humor. Y algunos se preguntarán: tiene sentido? Acaso el humor es una ciencia? Yo creo que algo de ciencia tiene. Y claro de magia. Y de misterio. Y de absurdo. Y hasta de poesía. Pero tiene de ciencias. El humor como la música es matemático. No existe humor sin ritmo. Sin métrica. El humor es una pieza perfectamente engranada para crear el concierto del desconcierto. El humor suma, multiplica, deriva, resta, eleva, tiene raíz… lo único que no va hacer el humor, es dividir. 8) Queridos Alex y Pepe Pelayo: Profundamente agradecida por el regalo mensual del Boletín de Humor Sapiens, los felicito por seguir sosteniendo este exponente de información lúcida, precisa, amena y veraz sobre la amplia gama de temas referidos al humor. Para los que nos pretendemos estudiosos del humor, la posibilidad de incursionar a través de los diferentes espacios de Humor Sapiens a las siempre enriquecedoras entrevistas a colegas y humoristas de diversos puntos del planeta, significa adentrarse en perspectivas reveladoras y estimulantes. 10) El humor distingue al Humano y, al estar asociado a la imaginación, según Edgar Morin y otros en su camino, también le ayuda a afrontar la tragedia existencial y a superar sus circunstancias. 11) Es harto difícil, o imposible, mantener la risa durante diez años ininterrumpidos, salvo que seas un JOKER PHOENIX. El humor inteligente prefiere la sonrisa (su elegante y pequeña hermana), mantener su ilusión con quien te mueva los mofletes, pero sin desarmar las quijadas. Para la caricatura personal y el humor gráfico, es fundamental no sentirse inanes frente al mundo cruel, donde mandan la “poca broma”, el lenguaje políticamente correcto, o los fragores de las guerras infames.Por eso mismo, celebrar diez años de HUMOR SAPIENS es una confirmación personal y universal. 12) El Boletín Humor Sapiens, de los Pelayo Pepe y Alex, cumple diez años. Es mucho tiempo pero no me extraña, porque la Seña del Humor, que dirigíamos el Pelayo mayor y yo en Cuba, duró el doble. La diferencia está en que la Seña llamaba a ver las cosas de este mundo con humor, mientras que el Boletín llama a ver las cosas del humor en este mundo. Y yo, por cierto, nunca he visto otro sitio que haga ese llamado con la amplitud, rigor y seriedad de este Boletín. Cuesta entender que unos humoristas sean así de rigurosos y serios. 13) 10 años con humor. Hay muchas cosas importantes en el comportamiento humano, como el amor, la fraternidad, la solidaridad, pero yo agregaría uno más, el humor, hay que recordar que dentro de los seres vivos el ser humano es la especie donde se utiliza más el humor. El trabajo que ustedes realizan al difundir el humor tiene su peso social, no me imagino al ser humano sin disfrutar de él, a pesar de que pudiera ser un comportamiento cotidiano no es tan fácil como aparenta, hay que deducir, hay que concluir que los que hacen humor son unos entes muy especiales, tienen que ser inteligentes, ágiles, ingeniosos, oportunos y un sin fin de etc. para poder ejercer este oficio, es por ello que felicito a los humorspaiens por sus primeros 10 años ocasionando nuestras sonrisas y alegrándonos el momento. 16) En este décimo aniversario de HumorSapiens, quería dejar constancia de la gigantesca importancia del trabajo de Pepe y su hijo Alex. Estudiar algo etéreo como el Humor, en sus diversas encarnaciones, no es una tarea que se pueda encontrar en los manuales de fábrica. Hay riesgo de recibir una tarta en la cara, resbalar con una cáscara de plátano o, peor aún, que te caiga un piano en la cabeza... cosas de las que Pepe Pelayo & compañía escapan con nota. 17) Yo asocio Humorsapiens con unas tiendas muy populares que había por acá hace algún tiempo. Eran las llamadas Todo x 1, en las que podías entrar y adquirir cualquier mercancía por el valor de un peso. En este caso, Humorsapiens es mucho más económico y muchísimo más atractivo. El único costo es acceder al sitio, y ahí disfrutar de TODO lo relacionado con el humor. Desde historias para sonreír, reír y ca…erse de la risa; hasta críticas sobre espectáculos, convocatorias y estudios teóricos. Parafraseando a Terencio podemos decir que Nada humorístico le es ajeno. 20) A este señor no le ha bastado haberse dedicado casi enteramente a la profesión/oficio/carrera/forma de vida/ de hacerle cosquillas al cerebro. 22) Humor sapiens, valga la redundancia. Soy de los que piensa que el concepto de “humor inteligente” es una tautología. Como “blanca leche” o “hielo frío”. A ese nivel. De los que asume que la caída de un gordo en la calle puede dar risa (siempre que el gordo en cuestión tenga seguro médico) pero no es necesariamente humor. Así de impertinente puedo ser, de machacón con la idea de que esa variante de lo gracioso que llamamos humor es más que mera contracción de músculos faciales y exhibición de dentadura. En que para que el humor se produzca debe implicar al menos un par de sinapsis cerebrales, de neuronas que choquen, se sorprendan y hasta se alegren de haberse conocido. Pero -a esta edad que me ha caído arriba mientras hacía otras cosas- no me hago ilusiones. El mundo es como es y no como uno quiere, lo cual, dicho sea de paso, es mejor para el mundo y hasta para uno. Hoy, cuando el trabajo de los humoristas va siendo desplazado por videos minúsculos que desde cualquier parte del mundo repiten el viejo chiste del gordo que se resbala en la calle -calles cada vez distantes y exóticas, eso sí-, urge recordar que la risa no solo no está reñida con la inteligencia, sino que la segunda debiera ser condición básica de la primera. Esto es lo que hace de una manera ejemplar una revista como Humor Sapiens. 23) Humor Sapiens.com es el sistema ferroviario que, tras enganchar los vagones de la inteligencia y de la sensibilidad al tren del humor, lleva a las gentes al mejor de los mundos posibles. 24) Hace diez  años, Pelayo y Alex se lanzaron a trazar el mapa del humorsapiens para el  homosapiens. Y en  ese juego  ingenioso de  palabras  me  estoy basando para celebrar este aniversario. Esta curiosidad me ha animado a seguir los pasos de nuestros artistas convertidos en exploradores de una materia singularmente delicada como es el humorsapiens producido por el homosapiens localizando en nuestra geografía planetaria los hombres y mujeres dedicados a esta noble profesión que nos permite sobrevivir los tiempos que nos han tocado vivir. A nosotros, a los que ya fueron y los que vendrán en el futuro. Una aventura divertida. Un desafio. Al que estos dos intrépidos artistas han dedicado horas en el empeño de trazar su historia mas allá de la geografía. Para Pelayo y Alex, siempre habrá un punto más que explorar. 25) Felicidades y gracias. Tuve el placer y el honor de conocer a Pepe Pelayo a finales de mayo en la ciudad española de Vigo, donde estaba visitando a su hijo Alex. Pepe vino al encuentro acompañado por este y por su nieto Dante, por lo que el placer y el honor se triplicaron. Pero Pepe me tenía reservado otro regalo: la invitación a colaborar en Humor Sapiens. Un honor y un placer que se acrecientan por hacerlo al lado de Francisco Puñal y Osvaldo Macedo de Sousa, que siempre me han acogido con la misma generosidad que los Pelayos. Respecto a la web, ¿qué puedo decir? 26) 10 años de humorsapiens.com. Apreciados Pepe y Alex Pelayo, realmente es de mucho agrado contar con un trabajo periodístico serio, actualizado y bien oportuno, que logre informar sobre la dinámica y el acontecer del Humor inteligente en américa y el resto del mundo. 29) Cualquiera es fan del humor. Hay quien es fan al humorismo, que no siempre es lo mismo. Pero hay gente devota, monjes del género, creadores que lo usan no solo como tribuna o catapulta (lo cual está muy bien) sino como ejercicio enciclopédico de guardián voluntario. Decirle "boletín" a Humor Sapiens es como decirle "pancito" a un croissant. Nunca un proyecto familiar tuvo tanta resistencia atlética y calidad en esa digna misión de informar y hacer reír. A los Pelayo hay que agradecerles el talento, la responsabilidad y la constancia. En un mundo cada vez más chato en el intercambio de ideas, tan "déjame ver qué puso este ahora" y con la capacidad de atención de un babuino con oxiuros a dieta de café constante, Humor Sapiens nos recuerda, con esa dignidad de bibliotecario y ese fuelle de bufón instruido, que el Humor es una vaina que se las trae y no siempre por las razones que todos pensamos. Esos Pelayo son, pues, una vaina seria. 30) En antológico tango, Carlos Gardel afirmó que “veinte años no es nada”. Si tomamos la expresión como cierta, entonces, un decenio sería la mitad de nada y, por tanto, la edad a la que arriba “HUMOR SAPIENS” pudiera resultar muy corta, ínfima. Mas, los que nos acercamos a este boletín sabemos cuánto conocimiento encierra; tanto que el período de existencia parecería mayor. Cada número nos regala importantes lecciones, además de actualizarnos en todos los ámbitos humorísticos. Propuestas interesantes, sugestivas lo caracterizan. Relevantes figuras se nos presentan; de los ya conocidos descubrimos algo diferente y de los que llegan a nosotros por primera vez, experimentamos la satisfacción de estrechar una nueva mano, la mano de un artista. Mucho se disfruta. Se trata de una publicación didáctica y atractiva, dirigida por verdaderos profesionales, por estudiosos y amantes del humor; pero, sobre todo, por seres humanos que esparcen felicidad. Esta frase, de Bertolt Brecht, se la aplicaría sin pensarlo dos veces a mi colega y amigo Pepe Pelayo, a quien conozco y admiro hace muchos años.  Diría más, por los años ochenta del pasado siglo, fue quien junto a su popular grupo La Seña del Humor de Matanzas, cautivo a muchos jóvenes de toda la Isla a encaminar sus esfuerzos en aras del humor, entre ellos yo. Tuve la posibilidad de conocerlo y compartir, vidas, anécdotas, escenarios y muchas aventuras junto a él, la Seña, y mi querido grupo Nos y otros… Desde entonces y hasta la fecha, José Pelayo no ha hecho otra cosa (y muchas otras cosas más) que humor, humor en todos los formatos, soportes, sentidos… Humor de muy buena calidad, para todas las edades. No solo ha hecho humor a diestra y siniestra, también se ha encargado, con incansable devoción, de promoverlo, y mostrar al mundo a sus más diversos cultures, de todas las partes y rincones de este planeta. 53) Querido amigo Pepe: ¿Cómo no te ibas a dedicar en cuerpo y alma al Humor? Supongo que, de sobra sabes ya, ¿por qué a los José se os suele llamar popularmente Pepe? La teoría más extendida es que “Pepe” son las siglas del latín: “Pater Putativus” (P.P.), que durante siglos se ha venido utilizando para sustituir el nombre de “San José”. Pues bien, traigo esto a colación del significado de la palabra “putativo” derivada del latín: “putatīvus”, que indica “reputado” o “considerado”. Y, en este sentido, es común que las personas que mantienen una buena relación de amistad y cariño se consideren entre sí como “familiares”, aún sin serlo de manera consanguínea. Por ello, muchas personas hacen mención de que tienen una “familia putativa o familiares putativos”, llegando a establecer vínculos o lazos de “familiaridad”, “afabilidad”, “cordialidad”, “confianza”, “intimidad”... de tal manera eso es así, que en la antigua Roma, “familiaris” significaba también: “persona muy allegada, amigo”.. Conocimos al grupo " La Seña del Humor de Matanzas"a mediados de la década de los años 80, en ocasión de celebrarse una nueva edición de la Bienal Internacional del Humor, la que tiene por sede desde 1979 al Museo del Humor de San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. Grupo escénico de humor novedoso, inteligente, variado y con una entrega y calidad de excelencia en sus presentaciones. Conocimos además por entonces de su excelente talento para escribir, por los varios premios otorgados a dos de sus integrantes (Pelayo y Pible), en el 1° Concurso Nacional de Literatura Humorística convocado por el Museo del Humor. Era fácil desde esa fecha notar en Pelayo su talento, su dedicación, disciplina y amor a todo cuanto de humor tratase. Años más tarde supe que había ampliado e internacionalizado más su quehacer creativo, desarrollando una excepcional carrera en el humor. Se convirtió en un "todo terreno", premiado en muchos salones y concursos del orbe, conocido y admirado en el mundo de la creación humorística por muchos colegas.
